It has been said that the GOP has always been more organized and therefore more effective. Being well funded is definitely a factor but as much as I hate to admit this there is another factor - Conservatives have more discipline- on the whole, not necessarily applicable from every single . their disipline. I would generally agree.

I can't help but think about Michael Moore's book "Dude where's my country" in reference to a thought about how every liberal has got a conservative in their family, he's the guy who never loses his keys. Liberals, for all their idealism and creativity on the whole usually lack a little discipline maybe?

Well, the GOP organization may be better organized, but their supporters are lacking in the both the organization and IQ department;

Heinz has apparently received about 150 calls this month along from consumers vowing to boycott Heinz products. The company has also received calls from customers claiming to buy more.

This website is calling for a boycott of all Heinz products.

I could understand this movement. After all prochoice groups have called for the protest of Coors and Snapple because of their contributions to Pro Life causes. Except in this case there is a small detail that the idots who are calling for a protest of Heinz stuff -

A look at the company's campaign donations shows a preference for Republicans. In the past six years, the Heinz company's political action committee gave more than $64,000 to GOP candidates, nearly three times the amount given to Democrats. It contributed $5,000 to Bush's campaign.

About all I could find in the ringing air of support from Heinz for Kerry is this -

It has shunned the Kerry campaign, but the PAC gave $5,000 to the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Heinz Co. proving to be an election-year benefit for President Bush

Boycott Heinz and boycott liberalism? This guy is a dumbass.

Americans Against Socialism - cuz it's such a serious threat to our nation as opposed to say, I dunno, our realtionship with Saudia Arabia which is afforder by capitalism.
