Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who says he is "strongly in favor of wind energy production at sea," doesn't want a wind farm on Nantucket Sound, where his family might see it from their elegant compound in Hyannis Port. News anchor Walter Cronkite is also a NIMBY (not in my back yard) and said "Our natural treasures should be off limits to industrialization and Nantucket Sound is one of those treasures."

Isn't it possible to build a few wind towers where it wouldn't be a huge hiderance to the sight lines on the coast, but still get energy. Someone is going to have to realize that by blocking this kind of construction it just means they are going to build polluting energy plants else where. Hey I wish we could have it all, but you have to give up something to get something.
